After I earned my Ph.D. in Experimental Immunopathology, I immersed myself in the practice of mindfulness-based healing, integrating mind, body, and spirit through yoga, meditation, and life coaching for over 25 years.
My reason for that was to commit myself to work with those suffering from emotional and physical stress-related disorders, including PTSD, other forms of mental disorders, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, eating disorders, and addictive behavior, among others.
As to my background, I am certified as a Yoga Instructor by the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, a Reiki practitioner, and a Certified Life Coach. I have also received training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Recently I trained in Trauma-Healing yoga for the management of emotional trauma from David Emerson.
Based in the Palm Springs area of California, I have traveled throughout the US and abroad, giving presentations, and facilitating retreats .
